Ghouls are semi-intelligent undead, feral animated corpses who hunger for the flesh (especially the sweet, sweet braaaaains…) of the living. A ghoul’s claws and teeth secrete an enchanted, paralytic venom: any hit from a ghoul forces the victim to save or be paralyzed for 2d4 turns (20-80 minutes), or until the paralysis can be lifted (which can be accomplished by means of cure light wounds).
