The Shade Isle Campaign
Quissler is a 3rd level gnome expert who serves as a captain of the Shade Abbey guard. He is the abbey’s Range-Master: his duties include training the other guards in archery and scouting for raids or patrols. The adventuring company met Quissler in area 1A.26 (the Palatial Fortress’s target range), where Deliah charmed the gnome and compelled him to follow the party.
Quissler was intelligent enough that he could save vs. spell every day until the charm wore off; by the second time this happened, he was wise enough not to let on right away. He was able to slip his bonds (the party kept him tied up at night and reapplied charm person on a daily basis, just in case) and escape before sunup the next morning. He hasn’t been seen by the company since.
