Golems can be made from many different types of materials. Most golems can only be harmed by magic or by weapons of elfsteel and better. Like undead, they are immune to sleep, charm, and hold. Thus far, the adventuring company has encountered only wood and stone golems (sort of).

Wood Golem: Wood golems are particularly vulnerable to fire, −2 to saves vs. fire based effects, and every die of fire damage dealt to a wood golem is +1 damage. The unfinished wood golems that the party encountered in Vikla’s workshop in the Old Fortress had only half as many hit dice and hit points as usual, and they did not yet have any invulnerability to normal weapons.

Stone Golem: A stone golem has no special abilities; it’s just a big heavy bruiser, a literal combat brick. It can be controlled by simple verbal commands, like the Domstag Golem that the party fought when they confronted Patriarch Pallidech in the Keep of the Soul-Still.
