The Shade Isle Campaign
In this part of the Lornwood, some two-dozen forest imps have built scaffolding and huts up in the treetops, whence they can drop down upon unwary travelers to accost and rob them. The adventuring company encountered this place while actively searching the Lornwood for monster-lairs to root out and eliminate. While fighting the grimps, they noticed that in addition to the typical bark-like skin, small devil-like horns, and jibbering, chittering language, these particular grimps also sported blood-red eyes, patches of reptilian scales, and excessive aggression. When Connor asked the chief of the Lornwood Goblins what this meant, the chief informed him that the grimps were probably snaga-hai, which apparently means that they’re low-class goblinoids and only good for fighting, not thinking.
